Programs

This class is thoughtfully designed for our smallest sprouts - they will squish, splatter, splash and taste during all of our sensory activities! All materials used for this age group are edible, vegan friendly and appropriate for mouthing munchkins. We will use foods such as pasta, yogurt, tapioca beads and oats to create colorful and tactile-rich sensory activities. Please inform us if your child has an allergy to any possible class material, we will do our best to accommodate them as best as we can. Classes will be built around a different children’s book every week and consist of 2-3 different activities or one main activity that evolves as we go, and will sometimes involve water play - please plan accordingly so that you have a change of clothes for your child (and even an extra shirt for yourself as this group gets REALLY messy!).

For our outdoor sessions, please bring a picnic blanket to lay on the grass.

This class is geared towards our curious, older explorers. They will experiment with materials such as rice, legumes, pasta, kinetic sand, fluffy foam, slime and home made playdough. The possibilities are endless with this age group so every week will be be a fun surprise! Materials used in this class will sometimes be edible, always non-toxic and not always safe for mouthing, so please make sure your child is ready for this stage (we will gladly enroll them in our younger class if there's a concern). Please inform us if your child has an allergy to any possible class material, we will do our best to accommodate them as best as we can.

Every summer we will offer an extended session in which parents will be able to register for as many or as little classes as they would like. This will be a mixed group and all the activities will be related but performed with the appropriate materials for your child. Stay tuned for more information as that time of the year draws near!
